“… but My salvation will be forever,
and My righteousness will never be dismayed.” (Isaiah 51:6)
God reminds His people of their history. From a small, vulnerable people in the desert, He made a great nation. This was nothing short of a miracle. God has blessed Israel, and He will bless them again. He promises to intervene, rescuing His people from exile in a hostile land. He offers them a future filled with hope and joy, where they will once again sing His praise. Those who remain obedient to the LORD will experience this restoration—God will heal them and renew their lives.
You, too, can expect this from Him. God brings salvation and freedom from all that holds you captive—sin, fear, and oppression. Through His power, those burdens will be replaced with a life of trust in the LORD.
But this doesn’t happen instantly. God asks you to wait on Him, to hope in Him. This is the essence of obedience. The gospel encourages you to persevere, to stay faithful even through difficulties.
Jesus Christ teaches us that His Kingdom is eternal. Those who obey Him will enter the eternal Kingdom after death. That life will be more wonderful than the life of Adam and Eve in paradise before the Fall.
So, place your future in the hands of the LORD. Remain faithful and live for His glory!
